Scientific Calculator
How to use it
Type a sum with the buttons or your keyboard, then press = for the answer. Use sin, cos and tan for angles, log for base-10 logarithm, ln for natural logarithm, x² for squares, xʸ for any power, and √ for square roots. The DEG button switches angle mode between degrees and radians.
Formulas used
- Trigonometry: sin, cos and tan of an angle, in degrees or radians.
- Powers and roots: x² squares a number, xʸ raises it to any power, √ takes the square root.
- Logarithms: log is base 10, ln is base e (about 2.718).
- Constants: π is about 3.14159.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a scientific calculator and a normal calculator?
A normal calculator handles basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. A scientific calculator also handles trigonometry (sin, cos, tan), logarithms, powers and roots, which are needed for maths, science and engineering.
Should I use DEG or RAD mode?
Use DEG for most school and everyday angle problems, where a full circle is 360 degrees. Use RAD when your maths or physics problem gives angles in radians.
Are the results exact?
Results are estimates shown rounded to 10 decimal places, which is enough for homework, exams and everyday calculations.
Worked examples
Example 1 — sin(30°) = 0.5. DEG mode me sin dabao, 30 likho, ) band karo, = dabao. Jawab 0.5 aayega.
Example 2 — 210 = 1024. 2 dabao, xʸ dabao, 10 likho, = dabao. Jawab 1024 aayega.
